"Wonderful relaxing getaway"
Our family visited Calcione in June of 2000. We stayed in Fontegiannelli in Casa Dell'Alloro.
We were very pleased with beautifully furnished, cozy apartment which combines the charm of old ages with luxuries of modern world. We loved having breakfasts or lunches on the terrace outside. What a view!
We didn't stay there long enough to fully enjoy some of the attractions Calcione has to offer, like a very charming private lake, but had a lot of fun splashing in the nearby pool, perfect for the kids.
We felt very comfortable right from the start by the warm welcome and hospitality of the owners, as well as Calcione's staff.
We had a great time at Calcione and can strongly recommend it for a wonderful relaxing getaway, or a perfect base for exploring beautiful Tuscany.
