"Such a comfortable, dreamy place to stay!"
We found Calcione to be the perfect spot to land in Tuscany. The house was gorgeous and well-preserved without being stiff and uncomfortable with kids. The pool was perfect and the lake was a dream. The kids played tennis and enjoyed all the space they had on the grounds of this castle.
The apartment was fully-equipped with a large kitchen that included a washer--something we never had before and really got a lot of use out of with 3 kids. There was useful information in a book put together by the host family on nearby villages and restaurants. We felt we had our privacy, but also there was somebody to help us when we needed it. It was such a comfortable, dreamy place to stay! We would be happy to be on your reference list.
