"A memorable stay"
Dear Olivella,
My message is a thankyou for providing us with a memorable stay at your castle and grounds. Casa Dell'Alloro was like taking a trip back into the hisory of Italy. The building was old but very comfortable. I enjoyed the fireplace and getting up in the morning building a fire. It was very warm and rich.
Your family was gracious enough to share the castle and host us for a wonderful evening enjoying the history of your family and Calcione. The chapel was another educational experience with the Saint in the glass enclosure. Your Coat of Arms and the grounds of the castle was another opportunity at reliving some of the history of Italy.
Amel and her friend, who cooked for us, were friendly and so talented. I wanted to spend more time with her learning how to make gnocci and her other fabulous creations. Would you please give her my best.
We have warm memories of our stay at Calcione. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable and educational.
