The cook was fabulous, she prepared a simple but elegant and delicious meal. She was also pleasant company. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We would liked to have met you, but,your mother is a gracious host. She assisted us in every way possible.
Calcione is a breathtaking estate and is centrally located to take advantage of all Tuscany has to offer. Lucignano is a particularly charming hill town, with numerous excellent restaurants and shops. We took the train to Florence (a leisurely hour trip from Arezzo, as you advised) and had great day in that lovely city.
Casa del Noce is clean, comfortable and situated well to enjoy the surrounding views of the pastoral landscape. I unhesitatingly recommend your facilities, we would certainly return in the future if plans are to visit the area, which I hope will happen.
