"We are hoping to return next year"
We had a fabulous 2 weeks with you over the summer. The house was just right, great accommodation and outside space (we loved having the barbeque) and so nice to be just a few steps away from the pool and tennis court. We got on very well with the family upstairs which was a huge bonus
We had a magical day at the lake, which we wished we had discovered earlier, the children loved the thrill of jumping off the jetty and daring each other to swim from side to side. We love the general area and had great day trips to Rome, Arezzo, Cortona and across to Radda in Chianti where we have spent many holidays. We suddenly realised once we arrived there just how unspoilt and quiet your area is, many fewer tourists (like us!) and less cars on the road. We were so pleased to come back to Calcione! We are hoping to return next year.
