Castle and Country

The castle of Calcione has been in existence since the 10th. century;
It first belonged to the monks of Sant' Eugenio,
and later became the home in 1403 of the Lotteringhi della Stufa family.
Ferdinando de'Medici, grandduke of Tuscany bestowed the title of Marquisate in 1632.
Since then, history, tradition and quality of life unite this ancient family to its Castle.

The estate is set in the hills of Val di Chiana, one of the most beautiful areas
